From Thursday, Infiniti, Nissan’s luxury brand, might just make a splash at the Paris Motor Show. The Japanese manufacturer will in fact unveil a concept car which should logically announce the future flagship of the brand that would see the light in 2018.
Called Q80 Inspiration, this study appears in the form of a four-door coupé with beautiful dimensions. This high-end coupé measures in fact 5.05 metres long and 2.03 metres wide. It has sporty lines and seems to have taken inspiration from such cars as the current Aston Martin Rapide, Porsche Panamera and Audi A7. With its elusive roof lines, its high beltline, sculpted flanks, lateral air vents, and 22 inch rims, this coupé will surely make an impression.
For now, Infiniti hasn’t unveiled any photos of the interior. The manufacturer just points out that the interior will have four independent seats and that it’s only been designed with noble materials in mind: leather, aluminium and carbon fibre. Lastly, the manufacturer announces as well that we will be able to access the inside by rear-hinged doors. How stylish!
From a technical point of view, we already know that this concept has an active suspension, very good soundproofing, and runs on a hybrid engine. Concerning the latter, several sources already suggest it will hit 700 horsepower. Finally, for this future 4-door coupé, Inifiniti announces also the possibility to have autonomous driving. Here’s to 2018!
