After the A3 four-door and cabriolet, it was the three-door version’s turn to be surprised by our photographers when it underwent its final trials before its presentation in mid-2016.
The restyling has gone under the radar to some extent and, as usual with Audi, it comes with a few new touches to the exterior to bring it up to date with the brand’s style evolutions. Despite the disguise, you can see it drawing slightly closer to the style of the new A4.
Under the bonnet, some minor modifications are also expected, although it’s mainly in the cockpit where the most obvious change will take place, as the A3 adopts the giant screen already seen in the TT instead of the normal dials.
So, what do you think? Is Audi right to change up the style of the new A3?
