Scoop: the Renault Megane station wagon is being tested

Our photographers have brought back some shots of a future model captured during tests in the Great North of Sweden. It’s the station wagon version of the Megane which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Some prototypes are better disguised than others. And it was the case for this Megane station wagon, which didn’t want to show off any of its characteristics. However, like other Renault products, we already know that the station wagon’s front won’t look any different than that of the sedan.

When it comes to the rear, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the sedan’s large lights adapted for the station wagon. We noticed a lengthened wheelbase on the prototype which would mean more space for the rear passengers but also for the trunk, whose size is a powerful argument for choosing in the sector.

Do you think Renault will manage a harmonious adaptation of its 5-door Megane design for a station wagon?
