Description
Triumph TR6 Pi, year 1975.
In Damson Red with a black interior and black soft-top.
This is one of the very last Petrol Injection TR6 models sold and it is in very good condition.
The engine with the mechanical LUCAS injection system performs exceptionally well.
The engine has been overhauled to the specifications of the "CP" version, meaning it produces 150 hp. The stainless steel sports exhaust emphasizes this with its fantastic sound when accelerating.
The bodywork is very solid and rust-free.
The interior is still original, except that the seats have been replaced with seats from a Mazda MX5. The original seats are still with the car and are in reasonable condition.
A Moto-Lita leather sports steering wheel has been fitted.
The soft-top is also original and functions very well.
The gearbox with Overdrive was also overhauled a few years ago and functions very well.
This is truly a very good-driving TR6, just as it was designed back in the late 1960s.
A tough and fast sports car with a powerful engine and large wheels.
The LUCAS injection system gives the TR6 a completely different character compared to the USA version with 2 carburetors. You have to experience that for yourself!
