The Aston Martin Vanquish is one of our favourite Cool Classics. Not just because the V12 was very fast, especially for its time, but mainly because of its incorrigible looks. The ultimate gentleman sports car!
The Vanquish was born from 'project Vantage' where Aston Martin was busy developing the 6.0 V12. This was released a little before the Vanquish's birth in the DB7, which was an instant success. When the Vanquish was shown to the public in 2001, it was a new concept for Aston Martin, where the entire body was made of aluminium and the chassis of carbon fibre and aluminium.
The Vanquish got another version for the real Bonds among us; The Vanquish S. They must have had 'The World Is Not Enough' on replay. Especially for those people, the V12 was spiked from 460 to 520 HP and the gentleman's coupe could hit 100 in just 4.6 seconds. If you had a bit of space (and hair on your chest), the 321 km/h was no problem either.
As soon as you get in, you get an extra special feeling. It took 'only' eight Conolly cows to give the Vanquish S its beautifully distinctive interior. As soon as you sit down you understand why Pierce Brosnan chose the Vanquish, Halle Berry's come naturally with this sex on wheels! Ours has covered just 51 thousand kilometres, was originally delivered in sunny California and has been fully dealer maintained. Looking for a gentleman's car with serious potential?
