HISTORY/DOCUMENTATION
This Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, chassis 062, is a pure circuit racing car built to FIA GT4 regulations for the Jota Sport racing team. The car was first delivered to Jota Sport, a renowned racing team and Le Mans veteran, in 2010. The first race in which the car competed was the legendary 24 Hours of Spa, where it was driven by Jota Sport director Simon Dolan and the drivers Sam Hancock, Joe Twyman and Roger Willis. The car finished without incident and immediately secured first place in its class on its debut. Another strong result followed at the 24 Hours of Silverstone. With Dolan and Hancock at the wheel, joined by Aston Martin chief engineer Chris Porritt, the car finished second in its class and fifth overall.
The car also visited the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe twice to take part in the annual Aston Martin Festival Race, which is held as a support event for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2012, the car was driven by the famous actor Rowan Atkinson, with whom it finished seventh overall. In 2018, Stephen and Felix Archer took the wheel and the car finished 23rd overall. The car comes with a comprehensive documentation folder, including documents, copies of AM Monthly magazine and photographs of the car. Also included in the sale are an Aston Martin helmet, an Aston Martin laptop engine diagnostic tool in a protective case, a set of spare wheels, tanks for the compressed air jacks and one key.

EXTERIOR
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 is finished in white and features various sponsor stickers, in keeping with its original racing purpose. The car is fitted with a set of 18-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels. For a racing car, the car is in very good condition. The bodywork shows some signs of wear and there is a small dent in the left-hand door panel. There is also a crack in the windscreen. The car is said to have been carefully prepared and maintained by Jota Sport throughout its racing career and has never been involved in an accident.

INTERIOR
The interior is fully fitted out to racing specifications and features two black bucket seats. The car is also fitted with a roll cage, a digital dashboard to racing specifications and a removable Sabelt steering wheel. The specification is entirely geared towards track use and underlines the pure racing character of this V8 Vantage GT4.

TECHNICAL
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8 engine. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. This gives the car the classic combination of a high-revving naturally aspirated V8, rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox. The specification includes, amongst other things, track lights, a roll cage, a digital racing dashboard and a detachable Sabelt steering wheel. The car was developed as a fully-fledged GT4 racing car and was built in accordance with FIA GT4 regulations.
The odometer reads 10,611 kilometres. The last service took place in January 2025, at a mileage of 10,599 kilometres. This included the replacement of the engine oil and the oil filter. The car was previously serviced by the Aston Martin Works racing team. A comprehensive package of spare parts and racing equipment is supplied with the car, ensuring that the new owner has access to a large proportion of the equipment required for track use.

GENERAL
The Vantage GT4 was designed from the ground up as a pure racing car and has become a widely used GT4 machine. The car is suitable for a wide range of track use, from track days and club races to competing in GT4 racing classes. This particular example combines a proven racing history with participation in the 24 Hours of Spa, the 24 Hours of Silverstone and, on two occasions, the Aston Martin Festival Race at Le Mans. The results at Spa and Silverstone underline the car’s competitive history. Following a few minor modifications and the successful completion of an ISVA inspection, it can be made road-legal. Further information on this is available on request. With its racing history, documentation, comprehensive spare parts package and service history, this Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 is a exceptional example for use at track days, club races or in a GT4 championship.
