Description
Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1999 as the successor to the F355, the Ferrari 360 Modena opened a new chapter in the history of Maranello's V8 berlinettas. Its name directly pays homage to Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari and the historic cradle of the brand.
The 360 marked a true technological breakthrough. Ferrari adopted a structure that made extensive use of aluminum , resulting in a car that was larger and more rigid than the F355 while keeping its weight down. Its design, entrusted to Pininfarina , abandoned the angular lines of the previous generation in favor of much more fluid shapes. At the rear, the engine, now visible beneath its large glass rear window, became a striking feature in itself.
And this engine is obviously one of the main reasons to be interested in the 360 today. Mounted in a mid-rear position, its naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V8 with five valves per cylinder develops 400 hp at 8,500 rpm . This engine loves high revs and offers that sound so characteristic of Ferraris of that era. With a top speed of nearly 300 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h time of just over four seconds, its performance remains remarkably relevant today.
Produced until 2004 before giving way to the F430, the 360 Modena now occupies a particularly interesting position: it retains the character, sound and behavior of a still very mechanical Ferrari, while offering a level of comfort and ease of use that allows it to be enjoyed regularly.
A specimen with European history
This 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena , chassis number ZFFYR51B000122843 , has a particularly interesting European history. Its original service book matches the car's chassis number and also mentions its first German registration , OS-TM484 .
Her career began in Germany in 2001 , before she quickly moved to Italy. She was registered there in June 2002 , in the Padua region, under the license plate CK222RK. The Italian documents kept in her file then allow us to trace her presence in the country for over a decade.
A particularly well-filled maintenance log
One of the highlights of this 360 is the presence of its original service book, almost entirely completed , which allows us to follow the first years of the car in a very interesting way.
The revisions are regularly recorded in the logbook, including visits at 7,800 km in 2003, 16,415 km in 2004, 29,470 km in 2005, 34,780 km in 2006, 41,355 km in 2008 and 51,760 km in 2009 .
The various stamps attest to maintenance carried out, notably at Ferrari workshops in Italy and a Ferrari specialist in France. The steady increase in mileage is also a valuable element in this car's history.
From Italy to Belgium
In October 2014 , its story took a new turn. A sales declaration kept in the file confirms its acquisition from its Italian owner by a new owner domiciled in Luxembourg , for an amount of €48,000 .
It then continued its journey to Belgium , where its presence was documented no later than 2017, before a new Belgian registration in June 2019.
Its technical inspection on January 6, 2026, recorded 61,268 km and confirmed that the vehicle was in compliance.
Ready for a new chapter in its history
So that its next owner can enjoy it in the best conditions, this Ferrari will be delivered after a major complete service including the replacement of the timing belts .
With a little over 61,000 km on the clock today, its original maintenance booklet which is particularly well completed , its documentation file and its journey through Germany – Italy – Luxembourg – Belgium , this 360 Modena has many advantages.
A great opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic Ferrari V8s from the early 2000s, with its extraordinary 400 hp naturally aspirated V8 , and to start a new chapter in its history with a freshly serviced car ready to hit the road again.
