HISTORY/DOCUMENTATION
This Jaguar XKR was delivered new in Germany on 28 September 2011. A major service was carried out in July 2026, ensuring the car is fully roadworthy for its next owner. In 2026, the car was imported to the Netherlands and registered with a Dutch number plate. The odometer reading is just 117,978 km. The MOT is valid until June 2027. The original booklets, such as the service, warranty and owner’s manuals, are included in the stylish leather dashboard folder.

EXTERIOR
The car is stylishly finished in Ultimate Black Metallic (colour code PEL) with the optional and popular 20-inch Kalimnos alloy wheels. These wheels are in very good condition with no damage and are powder-coated in black. The brake pads are red. The paintwork shows a few minor signs of wear and stone chips at the front. Viewed from any angle, the XK is a beautifully proportioned sports car with understated styling. The 2011 facelift of the Jaguar XK is distinguished externally by a significantly more modern and sportier front end, featuring slimmer headlights with LED daytime running lights, a larger oval grille and a redesigned front bumper with more aggressively styled air intakes. The front wings have also been fitted with new horizontal air vents, whilst at the rear the tail lights have been replaced by more modern LED units, complemented by a subtly revised rear bumper. The deep black paintwork emphasises the long bonnet, the curved body lines and the chrome accents. In the shade, the car appears almost entirely black; in direct sunlight, the metallic particles and the curves of the bodywork are beautifully highlighted. Furthermore, in July 2026, the car was polished and fitted with a ceramic coating. The headlights have also been polished.

INTERIOR
The interior is finished in Warm Charcoal (black) leather and beautifully inlaid wood. The seats are wonderfully comfortable yet offer ample support, as befits a GT. The interior is in good condition with only slight signs of wear. The leather is still in good condition. The roof is also in good condition and opens and closes smoothly. The car is generously equipped with options such as electrically adjustable front seats with memory function and heated seats. Other options include cruise control, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, a reversing camera and all-round parking sensors.

TECHNICAL
From a technical perspective, the Jaguar XK underwent a significant development with the introduction of the 5.0-litre V8 compared to the earlier 4.2-litre version. The new naturally aspirated AJ-V8 engine features direct petrol injection and delivers no less than 385 pk and 515 Nm of torque, compared to 300 pk and 420 Nm in its predecessor. This has significantly improved both acceleration and the car’s responsiveness and pulling power. In addition, the chassis has been further refined with modified dampers, improved steering response and revised chassis tuning. Combined with the six-speed automatic transmission, this results in an exceptionally comfortable, powerful and refined Gran Turismo, whilst retaining a distinctly sporty character. In July 2026, a comprehensive service was carried out, during which the timing chain, water pump, filters, air-conditioning condenser, spark plugs, oil and oil filters, and brake pads were replaced. The gearbox oil was also changed and a new filter fitted.

GENERAL
The 2010 Jaguar XKR is a British luxury sports car that combines elegance, comfort and impressive performance. Under the long bonnet lies a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine that delivers approximately 510 pk and 625 Nm of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.8 seconds. An interesting fact is that the engine uses a mechanical supercharger, which forces extra pressurised air into the engine, thereby delivering more power and ensuring a direct throttle response. The XKR is based on the second generation of the Jaguar XK and stands out thanks to sporty details such as a larger grille, air intakes in the bonnet, four exhaust tailpipes and special alloy wheels. The car features a six-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, allowing the driver to control the gear changes themselves. The aluminium body platform helps to keep the weight down and contributes to the car’s agility and performance. Inside, the XKR offers a combination of luxurious leather, high-quality finishes and technology that was ahead of its time.
