MGA 1500 Roadster, year 1959.
Finished in Orient Red, complemented by a black leather interior and black carpeting.
The car is supplied with a black vinyl hood cover, side screens with aluminium frames, and a black vinyl tonneau cover.
This wonderful MGA 1500 roadster was sold new in the United States and imported into the Netherlands in 1999, where it was extensively restored in the years that followed.
No expense or effort was spared to achieve perfection and to maintain the car in superb condition over the years. An analogue photo report documenting the body restoration is included.
The MGA roadster is a beautifully pure and timeless British sports car with clean, flowing lines. It introduced a fresh, modern design language for MG, moving away from the upright styling of earlier models.
On the road it feels light, engaging and delightfully open, capturing the essence of classic motoring.
The reliable 1500 cc four cylinder engine gives the MGA spirited performance. This example features the original steel disc wheels with chrome hub caps and the original steering wheel. Additional equipment includes two door mounted rear view mirrors, safety belts, an electric cooling fan and a stainless steel exhaust system.
