The Porsche 911 Einspritzer Targa is an enchanting beauty from the beloved (late) 1960s, a time when petrol stations were still manned, cigarettes graced birthday tables and hippie culture challenged prevailing norms.

The iconic Targa top offers the thrill of driving with the sun on your head, the sleek design of the Targa Bar and the convenience of a hardtop. A bespoke project, this particular example bears the soul of its previous owner, who treated it with love and gave it the attention it deserved.

Now let's talk about its unique features, starting with the colour. Wunschfarbe Crystal Blue, one of the rarest customised colours, only offered by Porsche for a limited number of years. Reportedly, only 75 (!!!) vehicles left the Porsche factory in Stuttgart in this colour. It has been perfectly restored, with not only new and fresh parts, but also perfectly fitted seams everywhere.

But the real highlight is the 3.0-litre engine. And no, this is not a gathering with cheese and sausage in plastic containers, but a feast that will continue for years to come.

This beautiful car is equipped with a powerful 3.0-litre engine, fitted with new high-performance pistons combined with six individual throttle bodies (ITBs), which ensure impressive acceleration. In addition, a computer-controlled injection ensures optimum fuel distribution. The computer, via a customised wiring harness, controls the right cylinder at the right time for the perfect amount of petrol (also known as sequential injection). All this is monitored by sensors and adjusted in real time by the computer if necessary. The party is completed with a racing flywheel and a modified gearbox for seamless shifting.

Combined with all-round stabilisers, this setup makes for an unprecedented driving experience. The car is instantly responsive to the throttle and the all-stainless steel exhaust provides an aural treat. Believe us, passers-by will twist their necks.
