Description

Triumph TR3A, year 1959.
Exterior colour British Racing Green combined with a beige leather interior trimmed with green piping and beige carpet.
The car is fitted with a beige mohair soft-top, side screens, and a beige mohair tonneau cover.
This magnificent Triumph TR3A was sold new in the USA.
The automobile was perfectly restored and overhauled by a renowned Dutch Triumph TR3 specialist (Hans Kooij) over twenty years ago.
The build breathes a top-quality finish in every detail; the car is still in a superb condition!
One careful owner has driven the car for 4000 kilometres, and he has kept the car well garaged.
This is one of the very best Triumph TR3A cars you will find on the global market.
A top restored example, displaying all the original details, and presented in a great colour combination!
The car drives better than new, it feels solid, and it handles sporty!
The operation of the controls feels robust yet light in operation.
This is a ‘no stories’ top-quality Triumph TR3A to be enjoyed to the fullest!
The Triumph TR3 series was very successful in 1950s and 1960s rally and racing competitions, including successes in the Monte Carlo Rally, Tulip Rallye and the infamous Liège–Rome–Liège.
Those drivers and navigators were true daredevils and heroes of the purest kind, given that the roads were little more than gravel tracks, the pace was high, and they had no driving aids whatsoever.
A modern-day owner/driver has the luxury of a leather interior equipped with safety belts and the promise of the most immersing open top driving experience any British roadster can offer!
