Description
• Porsche 911 3.2 Speedster with manual G50 5-speed gearbox
• 3,164 cc air-cooled flat-six engine
• Low mileage of only 33,741 km – service book present
• Special history: built for the US market and reimported to Europe while still very young
• Belgian registration documents, Car-Pass, CarVertical report, service book and invoices present
The Porsche 911 3.2 Speedster is one of the most distinctive and desirable versions of the classic 911 generation. Its low windscreen, characteristic Speedster profile and open two-seater configuration give the model a unique appearance, combined with Porsche’s renowned air-cooled flat-six engineering.
This example was first registered on 15 September 1989 and is finished in silver. The 3,164 cc air-cooled flat-six engine is paired with the highly regarded manual G50 5-speed gearbox. The mileage is only 33,741 km and the original service book is present.
The history of this Speedster is particularly interesting. The car was built in Germany for the US market, but was reimported to Europe when it was approximately one year old due to the scarcity of the Speedster on the European market. It was subsequently brought to Belgium.
In Belgium, the car received a certificate of conformity through individual homologation and was fully converted to European specification. Its original US-market destination can still be identified from the vehicle identification.
The original factory sticker is also present and confirms several interesting technical details and equipment specifications. It lists, among other things, type 911 740, engine code 930/25 and transmission code G50/01, together with the original factory options.
The car is in good original, unrestored condition. The bodywork was professionally repainted and the paintwork presents in excellent condition. The interior and soft top have been beautifully preserved in their original state.
The extensive documentation is another important asset. In addition to the Belgian registration documents and Car-Pass, a CarVertical report, the service book and several invoices are present.
Our Oldtimerfarm inspection team has prepared an expert report for this car.
